I recently bought a Homedics foot bath because I needed something to soak my feet in at the end of the day. I worked very hard during the day and ended to be on my feet for most of it. I had been really shopping around for something and had spotted this Homedics foot bath in a local store. I had looked for some Homedics foot bath reviews on the Internet and I couldn’t find anything except Homedics foot bath product description. I had come across some information about foot detox and detox foot baths in general but they seem to be a bit pricey for me. So I decided to go ahead and purchase the Homedics foot bath based on this.

I do remember my dear old grandmother who would come and visit us every so often. My mother used to always sit her down in her favorite and chair with a basin of water at the feet, a lovely warm blanket wrapped around her, some bath salts and oils in the warm water, and my grandmother would place her feet into the water and hey presto there would always be a look of pure bliss that would appear on her face. Of course nobody wants to be simple anymore. Me, in my age of wisdom and sophistication thought that I would buy this brand-new, shiny piece of modern day electrical equipment called the Homedics foot bath that would be able to do a much better job of foot soaking than the simple basin of warm water could ever do. So I eventually arrived home with my Homedics foot bath in its box. After I had used it I decided to write this Homedics foot bath review.

I was disappointed to say the least. I know that to say that I was devastated is taking it a bit too far, but I was so looking forward to trying out this new foot bath with all its jets of water and massaging spinners, and for it to be such a letdown. The problem was that the water was cold, or not much more than lukewarm, after about 10 minutes. The Homedics foot bath product description, which I had read before I decided to buy Homedics foot bath, stated that the water would be kept warm with jets of warm water. Unfortunately, I think that it was the bubbles that were responsible for dissipating the heat very quickly. The jets of water, which were described as “powerful” in the product manual were quite weak and what I would describe as “sad”. The only good thing I can say about the Homedics foot bath is that the central spinners felt quite nice unless you pushed down on them too hard with your feet in which case they stopped working altogether. Overall I would not recommend purchasing the Homedics foot bath, stick to either a simple basin full of water, or you might also like to try the foot detox bath. I haven’t bought a detox foot bath yet but I have heard good things about them. I’m not too sure about foot detox in general but as always I am willing to give it a shot.
